I like the cheapies idea.  I bought a couple of sterling silver sets to try out for fun.  I like the actual ring though far more than the fun rings I tried.

Here’s my 3.5mm moissey 5 stone wedding band on a size 7 finger to help you visualize fingerspace.  I did get it with the intent of occasionally wearing it on its own.

As for the gap,  I’m the opposite , I thought it would bother me,  but as soon as I tried the rings on together,  I didn’t even notice the gap and decided again trying to fill it.

I LOVE Anabolina’s set – I think this would work really well, and if you get a wedding band like this, I think it would work next to your e-ring. However, if you’d like a wedding band that’s chunkier or with colored stones, I personally think it may look better by itself on your right hand.

adreamdeferred :  I’m not a fan of curved rings, and I dislike big rings on my right hand since I’m right handed so I would opt for no band. I’d just wear my e ring as a stand alone ring ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป‍โ™€๏ธ If I HAD to choose, I’d actually wear the band on my right hand cause again, I don’t like bulky rings on my right.

Your ring is gorgeous and I don’t think more saphires would detract from it as you have the halo of clear stones. If that was my ring I would keep it on that hand and add a saphires/moissy/mix band to it.

I have an emerald e-ring and chose diamonds for my wedding and eternity bands, but only because my main stone is a raw emerald, and the jewellers could only put in cut stones at the size I wanted for my other bands, and I didn’t want to mix cut and rough stones!

adreamdeferred :  I think those last pictures show that your engagement ring is overwhelmed by the thicker bands.  I thinks it’s that the diamonds in the band and halo are smaller than what you want.  I would either choose a thinner band OR do what you suggested.  It’ll look lovely!  I have a picture of the wedding band I chose with my sapphire, just for sharing purposes ๐Ÿ˜†

adreamdeferred :  The stone is a non-treated genuine Canchantaburi Blue Sapphire that weighs 3.07 carats. The color is medium-dark, strong blue and the clarity is VS1. The two side stones are trapezoid-cut sapphires from Ceylon.
