    I guess it depends a little bit on what your end goal is.  If you ultimately want to be doing a combination of fake and real flowers, then maybe you should start with that.  But if your goal is to only do real flowers, I don’t think you gain a lot by doing fake.  Or I should say, none of the florists I looked at also did fake.  If I came across someone who did, I probably would assume they weren’t doing the kind of work I wanted (which is full service flowers, i.e. ceremony and reception decor and Bridal Party flowers).
