I have been searching for dresses and it feels utterly impossible to choose. There are so many beautiful options. This is why people with money to burn buy 2 or 3 dresses! I have narrowed it down to 6 that I like. From there, I just don’t know where to go. I am a size 16, slightly bottom heavy, but mostly hourglass shaped. I’d appreciate everyone’s feedback/votes on the dresses I’ve narrowed it to!

Have you tried any of these dresses on? In my experience, they can look totally different on you than in the picture or on the hanger!

@PinkAndPearls2013: +1, pictures of you in them would help me decide!

Pretty sure that out of those pictures, the overwhelming majority will vote for 5, as that look is extremely popular!
I like six. It seems to be more in your style ballpark but still looks elegant =)
But yes, we need pics of them on you to really decide!

I agree that you can’t choose based on model pics because they always look different on. I am a size 16 too and went for something similar to #5 with a sweetheart, so that got my vote 🙂 but i say, go shopping & come back with photos 🙂 !!

I say dress four! That dress will hug and show off your curves, however i suggest you try it on and see how you feel in it, best of luck!

I’m guessing 2, 3, or 6, but it’s impossible to tell without seeing them on you! 🙂

Thanks for your responses! I guess I will have to try them on. I just know what I like on my body. Majority of those are mermaid/trumpet shape. Only #5 is a little different from the rest. It’s more traditional. I have tried that one on and did like it. I put it in the mix, but I just don’t think I am feeling it as much as the more fitted ones.

Hey there-
I have tried on Farrah and wasn’t a fan, although I’m very curvy (my hips measured two sizes up than my bust and waist – on vera’s size chart). I’m 5’5″, 32 bust, 23 1/2″ waist, and 36 1/2″ wide hip.
I saw a Russian model (very thin/small hips) try it on and she was stunning in it so I think it all depends on your body type!
Here’s a pic of me in. Also I couldn’t figure out the strap so it’s on the wrong shoulder haha!

@CourtneyB: Thank you for posting that! I think I will probably end up ruling that one out, too. I have a big butt and large breasts. I think that particular dress may be made for a very petite-small-all-over woman.

I didn’t vote. Really need to see pics of gowns or similar gowns on you.

@lindsey.sturges: Maybe that’s what it is. I love the bottom of it, though. And I like it on the model.

1, 4 & 6 but you need to try them on and see how it looks on your shape
