The struggle is so real right now. Please let me know which dress you like best.
I made the photos black and white because the coloring of the top picture was really yellow and the bottom sample dress was blue so it was really distracting.
Please keep in mind the top dress is 2-3 sizes too big and wasn’t clipped.

I feel like you want to like the second second more just for the fact that even though you have a clipped picture of the first dress (it’s in your dress regret thread) you didn’t post it here… there’s a huge difference between the look a clipped dress gives versus an unclipped and obviously clipped looks better. So while I do like dress one best on you I think you like the second one more so I’d go with that!

dobby98 : thanks! I posted the unclipped picture because even though it’s not fitted as well, I think it shows the shape of the dress better because I have crinoline on underneath and will probably purchase a bigger slip to make it fuller. The picture with it clipped is more fitted than I’ll have it altered I think. I definitely feel like I’m losing my mind a little though lol.

I like the second one hands down. Gorgeous train, gorgeous lace, so pretty and romantic.

emsie : Dress #2 is far more beautiful. I hope you go with #2!

I like the first one on you better. It shows off your figure. The 2nd one has a lot of embellishment right in the hip area and makes you look bigger there.

second one by a mile…flowing lace skirt= total winner

emsie : the ballgown is clearly the better dress. HOWEVER, your post isn’t totally forthright – you already purchased the first dress. the realy question is not which dress is better, but is the second dress worth the extra $1.5k? (just taking a guess here) over what you’ve spent on the first gown.
you know you love the second dress more. you want a ballgown. but only YOU know if you can afford a new dress, and if it’s worth spending the money on it.

Number 2 is stunning and the fuller skirt makes your waist look tiny 🙂

I don’t like to do this when I know someone has already bought a dress, but honestly you look amazing in dress 2, and I know you wanted a more ball gown feeling — which this is! You probably won’t be wearing a ball gown very often in life. If that’s the look you want and you can afford it, this is the time to go all out.

emsie : Just to have the opposite opinion on here, I don’t care for #2. Maybe it’s seeing them side by side, but I usually don’t like tight fitted dresses. Maybe it’s because your hair is down, I’m not sure. To me, you look like a little girl playing dress up and in the first you look like an adult. I think you should stick with the dress you already own.

I really prefer dress number 1, maybe because it is a similar shape to mine, but I’m just not a fan of dress number 2.

Girl…I think you are worrying too much about your dress! I saw your other post about wanting a different look & maybe you’re freaking yourself out a little?? Ultimately it’s TOTALLY up to you but dress #1 is gorgeous! Dress 2 is ALSO gorgeous!
