Dessert bar. I really hate donut walls.  I don’t want to eat off a wall. It just doesn’t seem clean, especially not after people have been brushing up against sticky pastries pointlessly displayed on it to get the one they want. And there’s melting and the unnecessary exposure of the pastry to a nail and all of that. Donuts can also go on a dessert bar. Candy is great, but more of a favor than a dessert.

Definitely donut wall for me. Almost every wedding I’ve been to has some form a ‘dessert table or dessert buffet’ so that does not seem special to me. I’ve never actually been to a wedding with a donut wall (I’ve only seen them on Pinterest) so that seems really cool to me! Plus I love donuts.

We did both! The donut wall was a huge hit but I personally preferred the dessert bar desserts.

Dessert or candy bar.  I’m not a donut lover.

I wouldn’t do a candy bar, but I think dessert or donuts sound YUM!

Desserts for me personally, I mean I like donuts but I don’t think I would be that excited about them unless they were really extravagant. You can get donuts from literally any supermarket for like 50p for a pack of 6, so I would be more impressed and excited by a dessert bar.

We are doing a dessert table and gourmet donuts, as well as, our cake and vegan cupcakes for the vegans guest.

Candy! It is much easier to carry. I went to a wedding with a candy bar where I can take a bag of candy for a favor and I loved it because I had some candy to eat later which was nice. I couldn’t do that with donuts and desserts.

Depends how good the donuts are.

I will take a really good donut over a really good pastry, cake or square/bar any day, but I’d take mediocre desserts iver mediocre donuts lol

We had a donut “station” as I called it at our wedding three weeks ago and it was a HUGE hit!

If it’s the venue providing all the desserts though then I’d make sure they’re good donuts – we got Krispy Kremes 🙂

Donut walls are mad gross. Candy stations don’t really appeal to everyone – some people don’t like things that “sweet” as pure candy. I think that just an assortment of desserts will go over the best.
