tiffanybruiser :  Not to mention, I literally had to pee every 20-30 minutes during my last couple weeks of pregnancy.  Being at a wedding and trapped in a car for 3 hours with your bladder feeling like it’s gonna burst sounds so awful.

If the wedding was today, I would go as long as I was feeling fine. Babies usually take hours to come after first signs of labor, especially first babies, but your baby could reasonably be born at 38 weeks or 39 weeks and that would be a different scenario.

I would go I would just make sure that I had the car seat professionally installed and bring the baby bag with me.

I was in a wedding at 35+5 with my twins who were born four days later. We just made sure to look at hospital nearby beforehand but odds are, if you naturally go into labor, you’ll have plenty of time to get back. Have your hospital bad packed and your carseat installed and otherwise I’d go.

Brickette :  You gotta make the best choice for you, and it sounds like you did. I had my son at 39+5, and two days before that, I was exhausted and sleeping all the time. If I’d felt better, then maybe. That last week or so of that last month is just rough. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

I went into labour a week before my due date so in the future I probably wouldn’t.  What if you go into labour right before the wedding starts? what would you husband (best man) do in that instance?  I think you and your husband are probably better off going as guests with your friends understanding that you can go into labour at any moment.  This way there are no surprises if you don’t make it for any portion of the wedding.

Really depends how far away it is. If it’s more than an hour away, I wouldn’t go. If it’s immediate family, I’d stretch it to an hour and a half, but not much more than that.
