My mom named me something unique. Not crazy unique but just the kind of name where I’ve only met one or two other people in my whole life who have it. Growing up I always wanted a more common name. I like my name now but I still don’t love it. I will likely end up naming my daughter should I have one something from the top 10. Just thought I’d share a very different point of view on the subject

I like classic names, I’m not really into super trendy names, but now the classic/”old lady” names are back in… I’ve always loved the name Olivia and Darling Husband does too which I feel was popular when I was in school and it’s still popular and I love Charlotte, too, but I’m hearing it more and more- thanks royal baby! I wouldn’t not pick a name just because it’s popular if I like it enough but I probably wouldn’t want anything in the top 10, at the same time, just because I have a common name and it sucks!

MrsRevolutionize:  I wouldn’t prefer to pick a top name, but my Fiance has said for years that if we have a girl, he wants to name her Sophia/Sofia, so I guess it’s inevitable for us!
