    I think polyester is the least formal of your options, but I don’t find much of a difference between the other ones, it depends on the look you are going for.

    @minipenguin:  TBH the only table cloths I like are high-quality cotton ones in white/off-white/cream (or similar); so, I didn’t vote. But that’s just me.

    I hate satin table cloths (like really thin cheap satin ones)

    But any other fabric is lovely, and pintucks are lovely and ornate!
