Being an avid gardener and a lover of all things green, which I get from my mom, I was looking for some seeds and bulbs to buy for my mom for mother’s day and I came upon these:
I am in love! And they’re my favorite color! And depending on the "breed" they can get up to 15" in diameter! Needless to say, I just dropped $30 on flower bulbs. lol
The reason I post about this here is – Ladies, wouldn’t these be great at weddings as centerpieces/hanging pomanders?

I love those flowers! My mom has those is her garden and I always loved them! I would love to have those in my wedding, but its in September and I see that the bloom time for those flowers is June at the latest. Any ideas of how I could make them bloom in Sept?

Um… that’s toughie. I know if you plant them late in the season it might work. I’d try growing them inside – they don’t have an extensive root system so a pot should hold one. I know that where I live, a lot of florists are also botanists and have their own green-houses. This may be an option to consider – ask a florist to plant and grow them for you or rent out greenhouse space.
