I was looking for a thicker, 6-7mm plain rose gold wedding band and found the site Pompeii3.
Anyone order from them?

Hubby has been wearing it every day for three years. It is going fine. It gets a few mild scratched but it is to be expected as my hubby forgets to take it off when he works on his car!! We have had it redipped once (6mths ago) and it came up brand new.
The only thing to consider is that the prices for rings are cheap on pompeii3 because they use less gold and very included diamonds. My Hubby’s ring is quite thin on gold but I expected that for the price we paid. I also think it makes a difference that my hubby’s ring is 10k gold. I wouldn’t take a chance on such a thin ring in 18k gold for example.
My philosophy was that at the end of the day if the band wore out over the years it wouldn’t be to difficult to add more gold and get it remade. Nothing hard about making a plain gold ring…. I would however stay away from their pave diamond bands or engraved detail gold bands as I would be hesitant about longevity and fixabilty of them if the worst should happen.
My friend’s engagement ring was from Pompei and it was pretty poor quality. The diamonds kept falling out because the gold was very thin. She wound up getting it remade elsewhere. You would probably be fine getting a plain gold band but I wouldn’t expect really good quality. There’s a reason why their prices are low.
I have a wedding band from them with some low-quality diamonds. I had a low budget, so there isn’t much to complain about. I don’t care so much about my rings, but if you do, you probably don’t want to buy from them
I have a diamond spacer band from them, because they were the only place I could find a 1mm half eternity. It’s a pretty band, but I did have to replace a diamond twice from falling out. If you just want a gold band, that may be okay.
Their stuff didn’t seem very nice to me. I’d try eweddingbands.com for nicer, budget friendly stuff. Plain bands take a lot of abuse being worn all the time.
Thank you, I think I’ll skip it. The prices did seem to good to be true.
My ring was about $290 and is 2mm wide and 1.8mm tall and very substanial. They routinely have different types of sales and I got mine 10% off.
If anyone is interested they are having a 10% off everything sale.
I do love it though. Hopefully the exchange happens quickly.
