It should not affect you at all!

The only reason people avoid baths is because of rising body temperature, which you should avoid during pregnancy; however, this shouldn’t even affect implantation during the TWW.

No activity or swimming should affect anything. The tub recommendations are due to the heat.

Hang in there, if it’s not your month there is always next month!

Perfectly fine in the TWW and while you’re pregnant. I asked my doctor about this before going to the ocean because I was worried some bacteria or something might get up there; the answer is that it’s sealed off and safe to swim in both pools and ocean/lakes.

The only reason they say use caution with baths is because if you take really hot baths and overheat your body it can harm the baby. (I took baths my entire pregnancy, I just used a kitchen thermometer to make sure the water wasn’t hotter than 100F.)

Just avoid hot tubs or jacquzzis, that goes for your whole prenancy. Basically anything that stays at the same temperature when you sit in it can cause your temperature to rise should be avoided. As long as you don’t take an extremely hot bath and since the water temp goes down, you should be all set.

@cjfs:  Wow, congratulations!  You got a relaxing enjoyable vacation and a pregnancy.  Pretty sweet.
