@chronicwhimsy:  The worst one is that they sometimes have galaxy ripples in the same sale. Gone within 2 hours.

@NekoKitten:  I have had to stop buying the big galaxy bars when they’re on offer. They don’t even last half an hour.

@chronicwhimsy:  I think we’re giving off the impression that the UK is made up of chocoholics… 🙂

@chronicwhimsy:  honestly, I don’t understand how it’s not available everywhere. In Canada, it’s a normal side at any A&W, Wendy’s, Dairy Queen and pretty much every sit down restaurant offers some sort of poutine. We have a place called “New York Fries” in pretty much every mall that offers every type of poutine. Butter chicken on poutine, pulled pork, or “the works” which sour cream, chives, bacon bits. My favourite place is actually a local place called “La Poutine”, I go there twice a month. They have at least 20 different kinds.. I’m addicted haha

@NekoKitten:  Haha, probably true though!

I think the problem is that I’m a grumpy-eater. And work makes me very grumpy. So I eat.

@Brittanyg20:  Ugh, our fast food service over here is so crap compared to Canada. I was there for two weeks last summer and it was amazing. Basically all you can get here is burgers or chicken.

Where are my Whistle Dogs? Where is my root beer? Where are my frozen yoghurt stores? (All in London, actually, for that last one) What I wouldn’t give for a magic portal to the food court I went to in Calgary…!

@chronicwhimsy:  haha I live close to Calgary!  I’m not gonna lie I very much enjoy our fast food. Even compared to the US. We definetly have a variety to choose from!

This “poutine”, could someone explain it to me? Only I suspect that us slackers in the UK need it here. And talking of slackers, I have spent two hours sitting in the sun outside Costa sipping lattes with a chum this morning. The fact that we discussed new drumming gigs and costume refinements for said drumming AND that I took the pup for a walk afterwards is really no justification!

I ate a king sized cookies and cream candy bar yesterday…by myself. WHAT!

I also have one can of diet pepsi with my lunch. And then I go home and drink cranberry juice (no sugar added, le gasp! MOAR ASPARTAME).

Whatever.

ETA: I have been sick this week. So what if I wanted a white chocolate hug to make me feel better. 😉

I’ve been really good about diet and exercise lately.

BUT

It’s 10 am and I should be working on this proposal for mine and DH’s company or prepping for a job interview on Tuesday (YAY!) I am on weddingbee, drinking a latte, and about to watch the most recent episode of Pretty Little Liars. Because yes, apparently I am a lazy teenage girl. No work in sight at the moment.

I’m trying to tell myself it’s ok because I’m exhausted from a really stressful week – lots of errands, family drama, and the first week of DH’s multi-month departure. Still, feel like a big loser.

@Brittanyg20:  :O! I can’t eat fast food because my insides will rise up and destroy me, but …man, that poutine sounds DELISH! O_O! To my knowledge, that is not something we have here.
