Did he get outside and eat grass? Our cat does this sometimes.

He should be ok as long as he’s still eating, drinking and playing normally! Just keep an eye on him and if he starts to get lethargic or stops eating and drinking then you should take him to the vet.

Ours throw up sometimes if they eat too fast, (but usually there’s food in it) or if they have a hairball that’s not quite ready to come up.  Our dog also throws up if it’s been too long since he’s eaten, and it’s the white foamy stuff, but our cats have never done this.

I’ve always heard as long as they aren’t lethargic and are eating/drinking normally, it’s not a cause for concern unless the vomitting persits, (vomitting or diarrhea lasting 24 hours or longer warrants a trip to the vet).

Mine do that sometimes. I think that’s just what comes out when there’s no food in the stomach. Don’t worry and be glad he didn’t throw it up directly down into a floor vent like my cat did…

Mine throw up white foam when they eat plants.  Still, it’s always best to see a vet if you’re concerned.

My pups do this sometimes when they forget to eat (wish I could “forget” to eat!). Our vet has told us it isn’t anything to worry about provided that they otherwise act normal. Just keep an eye on him for a bit but I’m sure it is nothing.

Glad the kitty is ok!
