This site has some kind of malware trying to install from one of its’ ads. I have a support thread open for it. If it’s happening to you, please comment on it http://support.weddingbee.com/topic/auto-redirecting-to-suspicious-link/ning to you, please comment on it.

Installing ad blockers helps, and I wouldn’t be able to even be on this site without them.

I’m clearly wrong! I’ve never seen a popup or a plugin try to run from this site, so I’m really confused as to what you’re all seeing. Crazy.

herrera2016:  OMG THE HOME DEPOT ONES. The worst. Those are the ones that somehow get through my content blockers.

I’m on a mac no Virus. There adds really slow down the user experance. Many times I have to close the page in the middle of writing something. one of the worse sites I’ve seen for this.

I dont get pop ups but plug-ins are killing everything… they keep saying they’re fixing it but dont, why dont they just completely remove the video adverts?

yes they might lose a bit of income but they wont make any money from advertising if everyone leaves because the site is unusable

Yes, the add plugins seem to be worse here than many other sites.  Usually it’s just the video ones for me.  I’m always relieved when one goes away.

winterash:  I’ve never had one, either, but that might be because I have a lot of protection on my computer. However, this site is the slowest I’m ever on. It really drags on loading times.

I always have the page stop plugins and freeze up. so hard to even leave comments as PP said there is a large lag time in between typing the the box showing what is being typed. I also caught a virus while on this site (on my work computer!) i have only gotten the virus pop ups that take over my screen while on this site!

I’ve blocked flash from opening with this site, which helps–otherwise I can’t navigate or post, it just freezes up too badly.  With it I still have to wait 30 seconds or so for the popup to load (?!) before I can even read a post or the boards.

I wonder if we can ask a moderator to set up a donation page.. maybe we can donate enough to cover a years worth of popup ads, so they don’t need to go beyond the ones in the sidebars.

I get redirected to a  Disney ad whenever I use a shared computer for this site. I’ve stopped logging on whenever I’m not at home using my Mac.

Let’s go to CAFEMOM and make a wedding group. Their site works flawlessly. I hate this site.

I continue to have problems with just this site.  Shockwave crashes continuously, and every single page opens with this warning from McAfee:
