kaitlynaubrey01:  I had same issues. Only on desktop though. I would get that stupid “Shockwave Crashed” yellow bar at the top several times a day that required me to stop running it, reload pages, that would not let me reply, or cause huge lag times.

I also got the “virus warning” redirect that wanted me to call or click some things (which is discussed in a link in this thread) that requires me to force closing of Chrome as I can’t close the tab, and I sure as heck am not going to click, etc. When I ran my virus scan all seemed clear, but it is ONLY happening on this site (I can have absolutely no other sites loaded except this one and it happens, and if I don’t have this site loaded but a billion other tabs open, nothing happens)

I do have an AdBlock installed now and am running it again on this site which seems to help. It is being kept very busy though just from this site.

No issues on mobile devices.

RayKay:  yes happens to me many times with the yellow bar, drives me nuts. There are times i spend so long typing out responses to bees and it crashes and reloads and i just quit. Same as you in that when these issues happen i only have this site up.

I have noticed that the ads are getting a little better from this site than they were before.

ktsteimel:  I would be careful with usage then, as I did receive a virus somehow while i had only this site up at work. not a good situation..

My macbook pro goes crazy when I try to get on this site. It only works on my iPad and at work.

I absolutely hate the home depot add. It takes me like 5 minutes to get it to close. And it open every time I click on something. If I open the page (HOME DEPOT!), if I click on a thread (HOME DEPOT!), when I reply and hit enter? (HOME DEPOT!)AARRGGGHHHH! I’m so sick of it!!!!

I’ve been experiencing too many redirects on my mobile so I only access Weddingbee with my mac. However, Weddingbee takes FOREVER to load on my mac and when it does, the shockwave crashes.

I hope they fix the problems soon or I will have to stop using Weddingbee. It’s such a shame because I love the boards.

Same issue here! I mostly use my phone and there’s always a pop-up. Really annoyin. I don’t experience it as much on my computer but still, really annoying.

I’ve already reported these in the Support board and tech said it sounds like a third party, basically not their problem, but I have already checked and done everything that would get rid of something like that and it’s not that. I have a Macbook too and it’s to the point that I come to the site less often because it’s so broken.

wonderlily:  Not their problem?? That was their implied answer to you? Not their problem, when their compensation is linked to the satisfaction of the users of this site, whose experience using it is getting progressively worse?

I don’t know who is ultimately in charge of Wedding Bee, but it would be a wise decision for them to get to the bottom of this, and get this problem solved very soon!

Yep, that’s what I said! I work in Digital, and I totally get how complicated it can be to fix issues when the failure is in a service that is consumed or the problem is not originating in their code, but there is clearly something going on very specific to this site and that can be triaged.

The Internet Brands parent company can sell all the ad space they want, but when traffic plummets and we all install ad blockers specific to this site, it’s not going to be very valuable ad real estate.
