I’ve never heard of a popcorn buffet.  My Mom would be in heaven lol.  Sounds unique and fun!

Hahaha we briefly thought about it (LOVE popcorn!), but we ultimately decided on a cereal buffet!  Love the idea!! Can’t wait to see how it turns out!

I think that’s a very unique/creative idea that your guests will love! Popcorn is such a great snack 🙂

My mom and step-dad have owned popcorn and candy stores in the Dallas area since 1985, so it was pretty natural for us to decide to have a Popcorn Bar. We are really excited – we’ll have some fun, chocolate flavors but we’ll also have popcorn made to match our wedding colors. I can eat this stuff whenever I want, but I am still so excited!

@danaemarie:  We’re doing a popcorn buffet too and I’m soooooo glad I found your thread! I had ordered some popcorn from another shop in texas, and when it came it tasted old and not at all what I expected. I was so bummed, but didn’t want to give up on the idea. I live in Rochester, MN so only about 4 hours from this shop. I called and asked if I could buy some samples to see what I want to use for my wedding. The guy was so helpful, gave us recomendations, and asked us what we personally would like. Cost wise looks like it’ll be about the same as the other shop. Not only was he super helpful, he sent me the samples free, all I paid was shipping!! You’re a lifesaver! Thanks so much!

We’re going to do a big thing of the classic flavors like butter, cheese, and caramel. We’re still deciding on flavors, but the pumpkin pie is to DIE for. I crave it constantly!! So we’re for sure doing that. A lot of our family liked the tomato, basil, garlic. I wasn’t a fan but we’ll do that since it was such a hit. We want to pick two more gourmet flavors, not 100% sure on those yet. What are you putting your popcorn in?

@danaemarie:  We have a rustic theme so I bought some barrel looking baskets. & SO jealous!! Wish I lived closer, heck I’d drive 2 hours for that popcorn! If gas wasn’t so high, an 8 hour round trip would be worth it too! haha
