I would prefer the pretty packaging that isn’t reusable because I just don’t have room (or a need) for one reusable popcorn container. They’re cute though!

I am having a popcorn bar at the wedding; planning on buying the bags tonight!!… I’m going with the second one. That way guests can easily fill their bags and close them during the reception. Since yours is a favor and guests will get one when leaving the reception, I would go for the 1st one 🙂

I probably wouldn’t reuse the container so I voted the pretty paper package.

@alotlikelove:  I prefer the first one, purely because of the design; it’s more retro/screams movies more to me. I wouldn’t re-use it though.

i vote bags but my only issue is what if the oil from the popcorn leaks into the bag? Then you’ll have weird oily spots on bag

cute idea, but I would have no reason or desire to save a cute popcorn container. 🙁

And throwing out a “reusable” one would be way worse than throwing out a bag!

@alotlikelove:  can you put the popcorn in a clear cellophane bag and then in the brown paper bag. It will stay fresher too

I normally would be 100% in favor of re-uesable, but I would never use it again. It would go to the thrift shop. So number 2 it is.

@alotlikelove:  I like how the reusable one looks better. It’s really very adorable. However, I am not sure I would ever have an occasion to actually reuse it. If it costs more, I’m not sure I’d encourage you to spend extra on something that looks better but may end up in the trash anyway.

Honestly, I wouldn’t want to have to take the reusable container home with me 🙁

if you plan to give out caramel or kettle corn i don’t think you will get the drease problem.. I have seen it done with the same 2nd option you have and no grease spot..

However i would prefer the 1st one specially if your wedding is movie theme and goes well with your colors :))

We’re doing popcorn for the favor and bought the first container. We’re having a rustic inspired wedding and I felt that the first container was much more classic!
