It’s soda vs. pop for me, but I voted Other because I call it by it’s name:  Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, 7-Up..

I live in Canada and I call every drink like Sprite, Coca-Cola, Gingerale.. Pop! I only hear soda when I go to the States.

Soda. I grew up in Chicago where everyone calls it pop, but my parents are from Wisconsin so I think I acquired their words for things.

I’m in Michigan and we call it pop. Seems to be a Canada/close to Canada thing.

I’m from Kansas and we call it pop. But since I moved to Alaska everyone looks at me funny when I say pop. They all say soda!

@Woodstock:  From Canada, we call it ‘pop’.

Tonic I always think of as tonic water. Coke to me is Coca-Cola.

Soft drink is a term I see often, like at restaurants, but I am not sure anyone really uses it.
