Has anyone ever been to a wedding reception where they offered porta-potties as “facilities”? If we do a wedding at my parent’s lake house, I don’t think their septic can handle 150 guests x 4 trips to the bathroom…

If you do make sure they are from a reputable company. I’ve been at concerts and stuff where people tent and have to use them and they kept them so clean that only at the end of the night they started to get a little gross.
You could rent them and make sure they are stocked with air fresher, and hand sanitizer or wipes. I’m sure you will be fine, it is good your are thinking to protect your parents bathroom and septic. That much use and it could lead to a serious problem. (my fiance is a plumber I know more than i’d ever care to about this stuff.. haha)
O you could also decorate them so they don’t look so porta pottyish.

I was at a wedding about 2 months ago that had pota-potties. They had a regular one for the guys, and then got a handicapped one for the ladies. I would recommend doing that. The handicapped ones are alot more spacious, so ladies in dresses dont have problems. They also even had enough room to put a tiny table with basket full of extra tp and tampons.
