That seems about right for the price. I doubt there’s a hidden way to get one much cheaper. I actually think it’s a pretty good deal for one that has plumbing, a sink, is clean, and manned.

That sounds a little steep to me… if you are in New York try these guys who do portable toilets in long island and surrounding areas. Good prices and they have some surprisingly really nice units!

Sounds about right. One of the venues we looked at required a pot-a-john and it was around 2K.

I would just try and see what you can manage to do with reducing the cost with the rental company, see if they can give you any sort of reduction in the cost. Then I would just cut from something else to make it work.

We just ordering the bathroom trailers for our tent wedding and they were $1000.  So your prices seems about right.  But i have to say they are worth it!! You want your guest to be able to wash there hands!  Good Luck!

Porta potties can range in price depending on how nice you want them to be. I believe you can get some of the cheaper ones for a few hundred dollars for a day, up to probably 2k+ for the “luxury portable restroom rentals“.  The company we used was called Aparos Little John and are based in New York, NY.

@calypso522:  Your profile says that you’re in Virginia.  I’ve rented portable toilets in Virginia before from a company called Don’s Johns.  Try them out and let me know if I was any help 🙂
