Orange and blue can be a great color combination. That’s the combo I used for my wedding. The table numbers can be portals with the number in the center of the oval. If it can be done nicely, maybe you can print a large portal to stand on during the ceremony?

I think one of your cake layers should actually be styrofoam. But don’t let anyone buy you and him know!
That way you’ll have a secret… Part of your cake is a lie!

Wow, thank you everyone!! I didn’t ralize how many people even know what Portal is. 🙂
I LOVE LOVE LOVE those little turrets as cake toppers!! Maybe a card box = companion cube?
I’ll have to look for an intrumental from Portal. 🙂 Awesome!!

@Haruyou: Well clearly you have no cake. The cake is a lie.
Your invitations could have a header like “these points of data make a beautiful line…”
Um, and “still alive” as your processional!

My mom made these up for our cake-topper
My husband and mom conspired for me to see this sign as I was being walked out by my father. I cried, lol.

I hope you check this thread… A bride on Reddit’s weddingplanning board did a companion cube-inspired wedding. Check it out! She was super creative.
Click the link at the top of the page to get to her flickr album.. Lots of photos but it’s worth going through them to see the gamer/Portal stuff.
I loved looking at her wedding details. So fun. 🙂
