splishsplash :  you don’t always o after a LH surge, also it can take up to 3 days to o once you have a positive test. Keep BD and testing until your temp rises. I often don’t o until CD 18-19 (28 day cycle)

splishsplash :  Maybe the antibiotics have dried you up? I would be concerned too but keep BDing and trust the OPKs until your temps prove otherwise. Maybe there is EWCM inside your cervix and just not outside b/c of the antibiotics. Also, your cervix could rise and soften in a day so try to stay hopeful. I know, easier said than done. I just had an anovulatory cycle last month and am currently waiting on this cylce’s temp to rise since I think I should have O’d yesterday and the anxiety from last cycle around this time is hard to ignore. But I’m trying to be hopeful and wait a few days for the temp pattern to trend upwards.  Keep BDing and give your body at least 3 days of temps before you let yourself freak out about possible anovulation. It can take days after a positive OPK to O, you know that. And maybe you’ll get two LH surges this cycle and O a little later, who knows! Good luck to you!!!

I had 3 LH surges the cycle I got pregnant with my daughter and finally O’d after the 3rd one on CD41.  I found out I was pregnant on CD50.  I also have PCOS which complicates things a little bit, but just know that it is very possible to have multiple surges and still get pregnant that cycle.

splishsplash :  normally I get a positive opk for about 24 h. Last cycle it was positive for 3.5 days!! What I’ve learned from a year of TTC is that your body always does something weird, every single cycle…

splishsplash :  My normal is 3 days of positive OPKs. One day of equal or slightly darker test line, one day of blazing positive where the test line takes most of the dye from the control, and another day of equal darkness. I usually O on that third day of positive OPK. So while this isn’t your usual normal, it could very well be this cycle’s normal. Keep BDing until you know after 3-5 days of temps.

Last cycle I got positive OPKs for 6 days in a row. They were fully positive, the line was much darker than the control line. I had gone in for a consultation with the RE in the middle of it and he gave me an estimate of when I would O based on my egg. That, plus temps, confirmed I O’ed on after the 5th day of positives.

I usually have only 2 or so days of positives, but more can happen!
