Okay… So Fiance and I decided to start trying in the near future ( October) . I was having the worst feeling in my abdomen ( almost had to go to the ER). I looked at WebMd and it gave a list of things it could be and ovulation was one of them. So I got pepto, tums, and an ovulation kit. I did one yesterday and it was negative, and i did one this morning. Well it was positive this AM ( Three different tests)! . So we quickly talked about it, high fived, and did the baby dance.
Now, less than 8 hrs, it is negative. I did drink tea earlier . Fiance looked so disappointed, but I tried to cheer him up By telling him my urine might be diluted.
I am confused. Did we miss the window? It would be great if we could have a baby in May ( I am a teacher so the due date would leave me 6 weeks prior to the end of school so I would have two extra months with the baby). Any help would be appreciated!
Sorry for any errors, my IPad doesn’t like the Bee and it is driving me crazy!

@Sunnyinct: The window of getting a positive test is very small, you caught it this morning so yay! It means you will ovulate within a few days. I’d keep baby dancing over the next few days to cover your bases. The surge of LH that gives a positive OPK is just an indicator that you may ovulate soon, not that you actually are ovulating right then or that you actually will ovulate at all. The best way to confirm that you actually are ovulating is to temp/chart and see your temp shifts. Hope that helps!

Once you ovulate, you have a couple of days to actually get pregnant, and sperm can hang out alive for that long, even from one BD. Best to do it multiple times, though! Good luck!

Thanks… It was getting overwhelming!

@Sunnyinct: The fertile window is typically 3 days before, the day of, and 1 day after ovulation. Many people will BD every other day or every day the week leading up to ovulation.
