So I had a period September 3rd 2017. I had light bleeding September 18th. I thought it could just be ovulation bleeding. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex the 15th of September. My period was due the 27th but it never came. It finally came on October 3rd. It seemed like a normal period. It was just blood but no cramping whats so ever. I did have cramping a week before my period was due. Anyways I did some test up until my period started and bfn and then after my period ended I’m still feeling nauseous and just feeling like something is off so for the heck of it I took a test and it was positive?!?!???? 2 days after the bleeding. The bleeding lasted 5 days. I just don’t know what to think.

Sometimes you can have spotting at the beginning of a pregnancy or you can bleed during implantation. Though five days seems a little long, if you didn’t have cramps (and might have lacked other symptoms that point to a regular period), it’s possible you were experiencing this.
I don’t know how common false positives are, but have you take more than one test to see if others say that you’re pregnant? If not, it’s probably wise to do so.
Good luck, bee.

Elena2 : Where abouts are you located? Here in Australia a whole bunch of pregnancy tests were realled a few days ago due to false readings. Could it maybe be a faulty test?

It’s possible. I’d call your dr and have your blood drawn to confirm.

Elena2 : At home pregnancy tests are usually very accurate. Bleeding can be super normal and common in the early stages of pregnancy but I would recommend you call your OB or dr’s office and go in for a blood draw so they can monitor your HCG levels to make sure they’re going in the right direction.
