Sorry for another post. I posted a picture of my three very positive dollar store tests yesterday. I took a few more this morning along with a first response and all tests were negative. How could they have been false positives they were pretty dark, lighter than the control line but still dark. Even if I am having a chemical wouldn’t they get lighter before going completely negative ? I’m so confused and sad. Has this happened to anyone else ?

I’d call your Dr for blood work. It could be faulty tests. Were the FRERs digital? Those aren’t as sensitive.

I had a chemical last month and my experience was just like this. I went from strong positives to complete blanks like 12 hours later.

Can you post pictures? They were quite dark yesterday, so a chemical is possible, especially if it was FMU.
I would call the doctors and get a draw, just to confirm hoping everything is okay!

Yesterday and todays. Maybe it was a chemical then based on all your experiences. Ide be surprised if all these tests were false positives

I had a similar thing happen last month. I got a positive then the next day, nothing. FX you just had diluted urine.

Hmmm. This would drive me nuts. Maybe try a different brand that is still in the reasonably price range.

countrygirl2009 : I see a line on that one you just posted. I would call your dr, in the meantime maybe get a “pregnant/not pregnant” test?

How frustrating!! I would try another brand and also call your doctor to schedule a blood pregnancy test just to confirm. As others have suggested maybe your urine was just diluted? I wish you the best of luck!! Hope you get a second line tomorrow with first morning urine!

This is horrifying! Pregnancy tests mess with your brain. I’m praying you get a positive from a reliable test, maybe a doctor?!

I’m going through the same thing right now, except I’m nearly certain mine is a chemical. I see a second line in the last picture you posted, so I think there’s hope for you! I wish you the best of luck!

You may still want to follow-up with your doctor just to make sure though. Something similar happened to me and I ended up having a pregnancy of unknown location with HCG levels that rose and fell for a couple months. It ended up resolving on its own but I was close to being treated with methotrexate several times. Not trying to scare you and hopefully that is not your situation but it doesn’t hurt to be safe rather than sorry. I’d make sure to go to your OB instead of your GP though because going to my GP first slowed down the process initially.
