@MrsLongcoatPeacoat:  I live in a part of Canada, where people make lots of money young. I live in the oil fields, and my husband definitely works with people who are 21 and make more than 120k a year, so I wouldn’t say it’s not possible.

But if she is rolling in the dough like that, why does she need him to buy her plane ticket? Usually people, who are that financially stable have no issue witow paying their own way.

I hope if he likes her, she’s legit! Would hate for someone to get their heart broken over deceit :/

Number 4 and 5 on your list sound like great big lies. He shouldn’t be sending her any money, for anything (especially if she supposedly makes that much money). Not sure how they consider themselves engaged if they haven’t met face to face yet. Maybe HE should go see her as soon as possible, and if she starts making excuses, there’s his answer.

@MrsLongcoatPeacoat:  Nice! What did you find out, if you don’t mind sharing?

Did she ever mention what company she worked for? It would be very easy to call the company and find out if she actually worked there.

@MrsLongcoatPeacoat:  That’s really impressive that she managed to pick the WORST name ever to use for catfishing.  I mean, if I google my name, there’s at least 4 other people who come up with the same name and 2 for my Boyfriend or Best Friend.

I’m glad you were able to convince him that she (as he knows her) may not actually exist.

@MrsLongcoatPeacoat:  For real!  And it’s not like she’s amish because she obviously has skype!
