I know dress regret is common, but I never thought I would experience it. I ordered my dress in May 2011. I just had my second alterations appointment, and only now am I second-guessing myself. I’m hoping ya’ll can help me stop the panic I’m feeling. I can’t tell if it’s genuine dress regret, or if I’m just channeling my stress into this. So…take a look and please give me your honest opinion.

I think your dress is really pretty! It fits you perfectly!

I like it! But I’m a sucker for sparkles and corsets 🙂 Is there something particular that you DONT like about it, or has it just lost it’s interest to you because you’ve seen it so many times?
You’re not surprised by it anymore, but it will be a showstopper to your Fiance and wedding guests!

You know what, it’s really beautiful. You look gorgeous. I think it’s just the harsh lighting.

The cell phone camera photos aren’t the greatest either…
I think my fear is that it’s too much. The dress was my first wedding related purpose (short version: my mom lives cross-country, and I had to seize the chance I had to shop with her – which was very early). The rest of the wedding is fairly simple and basic. 2 person bridal party; dinner reception (no DJ, no dance floor); 50 guests max; etc.

I think it’s stunning! Very nice design for your shape.

I think it’s gorgeous, you look amazing in it and I don’t think it’s “too much” at all.

I dont feel its too much at all!!! Its very beautiful. But, if you feel that it may be “too much”, just go conservative with your makeup, hair, jewelry and veil. That will balance out your look 🙂 But its beautiful. I honestly dont see where it would be too much. Best to you!

It’s beautiful and you look beautiful in it! You shouldn’t have any regrets! I agree with bonneyj – if you’re worried about being too formal, just keep your hair and accessories breezy, but I firmly believe you should be as fancy as you wanna be on your wedding day, regardless of venue.
Who’s the designer? I really love that dress!
