wow i feel like you wrote this post about me!

i brought my dress in July this year after tring on dozens and dozens of dresses, endless bridal shops.

Similarly my dress wasnt what i was initially going for. I was going for a more straight look but mine looks so simiar to yours! its an allure in ivory ballgown.

When the dress arrived, i tried it on and initally was happy and excited. Then the days followin this was hell. I had bridal regret. Mum paid for the dress and i couldnt express my feelings to anyone. i thought mine was too plain bla this and bla that.

I started looking at still white and other sites to see how much it would cost me to get a new dress. I would never go through with this cause it would have broken mums heart and i would have felt like i would regret changing later haha.

LOST STORY SHORT. I decided to change the veil i had prepurchased. I made the veil longer and it had more detial that the dress didnt have. now i look back on pictures and i think wow. This is me and this is the dress for me and this is my veil.

I am certain every bride gets dress regret and if you havent had it you must be a decisive person. i am very indecisive.

try changing your accessories seriously there is something about the dress you loved when you brought it. This is the dress for you trust me. You look lilke an absolute doll! your partner is going to be wowed when he sees his princess coming down the aisle and thats the best bit! good luck.

Try accessorising with a veil…makes a massive difference. You can add anything you want to the dress too if you decide but i think you look stunning! You will make a beautiful bride. Its super romantic and i know on the day everyone will be looking at you thinking wow.

Usually when I see a dress regret thread on here, I hate the dress and want the person to get a new one.  Not you.  It’s stunning and unbeatable!

it looks fantastic on you.

dress regret happens to the best of us. I tried on 50+ dresses and narrowed it down to two. I loved them both, so I went with the one within my budget (the other was double). I absolutely love the dress I bought, but find myself thinking 1)  should I have ordered it in blush rather than ivory and 2) should I have went with the other dress? realistically, there probably IS a better dress out there for you, and me, and every other girl. there are the same way there will always be someone smarter or skinnier etc. There are literally thousaaaands of dresses, but what matters is that YOU feel comfortable and beautiful in it (which you do look beautiful!)
