Hi all.. My first time in these threads! :-)

Ok for my last three cycles – it has been 28 days/35 days/27 days. (Not charting or temping or anything by the way but DTD every 3/4 days from CD13.
CD29 this cycle, felt extreme fatigue – had been going to bed at 7pm in the evenings too!
CD30, quite exhausted, emotional and rundown – three coldsores ugh!
Night of CD31 I have pink spotting. Next morning, pink spotting on and off through the day – sometimes darker/brownish but only when I wipe and none on liner.
CD33 Brown mucus after bowel movement (SORRY!) Pink/light watery red spotting on and off throughout CD33 and CD34.
Today is CD35, back to light pink spotting sometimes when wiping after toilet, but pretty much gone. Then appears bright red aspotting later in the day! (TMI) My AF is usually very red with clots.

Sensitive gag reflex since CD32. Yesterday smells that I usually love were making me nauseous and on and off gag reflex sensitivity throughout the day. Very mild and weird pinching cramps on and off from CD32 continuing to today. Normally I get very heavy painful dull aches that stop after first day of period. I took two HPT cheapies on CD29 & 32 – both negative. And yesterday I took FRER hpt – negative again. Does it sound like I could be gettting false negatives? I wouldn’t know when to go to the doctor without seeming silly!! Its the weird spotting combined with pinchy unusual cramps and gagging that’s thrown me!! I dont have any sore breasts though there was one day last week when one of the nipples was itchy but it passed.

I’d really appreciate your knowledge and advice ladies!

Not all luteal phase spotting is implantation spotting. It sounds like yours was probably just regular old spotting. Most women don’t have any pregnancy symptoms until they’re five weeks pregnant, so if the symptoms you describe were pregnancy related, you’d have a positive test by now. False negatives are very, very rare.

unfortunately because of the timing I would think this is pre AF spotting. I had pretty much this last cycle for about 4-5 days before AF then AF Showed up full blast! I too was holding out hope it could be linked to implantation seemed it was just a funky cycle.

Implantation bleeding doesn’t last for 4 days

Thanks for your responses.. I’ve read somewhere that IB can possibly last up to five days. And I guessing I’m holding out hope because my Mother-In-Law didn’t know she was pregnant for four months as she got a period like bleed every month. Her previous two kids were adopted so shenever thought it possible.
I have also read studies that false negatives are quite common – testing too early, etc. The cramping is still here so ill probably wait a few dayys to go gp to make sure it’s nothing else!!

If you have had implantation bleeding for four days, you would be getting a positive test by now. Tests pick up HCG around 2 days after implantation. I agree with others that this is most likly PMS/ AF getting ready to come and the hormones that you get before your period can cause the exact same symptoms as early pregnancy. As for the story about your Mother-In-Law, it sounds like she didn’t test and get negative pregnancy tests because she didn’t even think it was possible to get pregnant. That is way different than someone testing and getting negatives way past possible implantation phase.

I have to agree with the others here, it sounds like pre AF symptoms to me 🙁 The time line you have there doesn’t really line up with IB, you wont have pregnancy symptoms before implantaion occurs, it’s impossible because you don’t start releasing the hormones until the egg attatches. I’m not saying that it’s not possible that you aren’t pregnant because you aren’t out until AF shows but it sounds to me like she is about to. Just my advice, if you don’t get your bfp this cycle you should really look into temping and opks, they are extremely helpful in taking the guess work out of everything. Then you know exactly what your timeline should be, because TTC can definitely take a toll on your cycle and wanting to be pregnant can play mean tricks on you. I have been at it for 15 months and I have many times felt like I was pregnant and ended up getting AF right on time or shortly after. Good luck!
