@ashnic87:  I personally am not a fan of the glitter and think it will look dated.  However, I think the nail color by itself is quite beautiful!

I like the color, not sure about the glitter. I did not do the basic french, I used Opi in “Pinking of You” and kept them short.

I did that manicure once and it looked really nice, the glitter comes off as pretty subtle

Do you know what colors they used?

I think those are really pretty. Except for some closeups of your hands, a subtle manicure won’t be all that obvious in your photos or in real life, so go with whatever makes you happy. I think this is a nice change from some of the more drastic and fake looking french tips I see so often. I don’t personally think the person in the photo did a very good job – the glitter is a little uneven and that can make it look less than great. If you get a pro to do it, it will look great.

Love it! My opinion is that glitter is almost never a bad choice.

I am a fan of the French Manicure because it is sooo classic.

But I have to say I like your choice here… as I used a similar colour on my toes for our Barefoot Wedding

And well… a girl can never get enough glitter IMO … especially on her Wedding Day

(for if there is a day to shine… this is it)

Very pretty! If you love it, do it! who cares if it will look “dated” in a few years – everything will, new trends will come and take over everything…

Love it! Much classier than huge, thick fake nails IMO.

I love it! I wanted something similar but the nail salon I bought a pre-wedding pampering Groupon for didn’t have glitter polish. Don’t they know it’s back in? Make sure to call your nail place first.

I hate french manicures bc they are often done…horribly. I love that. I’m not sure about it looking dated bc….it’s just NAILS. I’m sure my mom’s nails on her wedding were nothing I would wear today. Go for it!
