I’m sorry, but what is it?

Can I be 100% honest and not get in trouble for it?

It looks like a bunch of chiffon with a ribbon… I don’t see a “dress” in there…

EDIT – Okay, with the picture below it looks like a dress! phew… I couldn’t see the lacy band for the chest in the first picture.

I would pay maybe $25?

Personally, I wouldn’t buy it, because I sew and I just wouldn’t pay someone to make something that I’m capable of making.

Have you looked on Etsy or anything to see what comparable items sell for?

Is it strapless?  I’m not sure how strapless would work on a little one. .

I think you have potential but as it is the dress does not have enough form and substance to warrant having it made by someone else. I would look into adding actual fabric.

@Katnisseverdeen:  I don’t get the point of that dress. Perhaps it is just me but really? It looks like the little girl is wearing an oversized tu tu in the wrong place.

No, I wouldn’t buy that.  Aside from the fact that I find strapless dresses inappropriate on young children, it’s way too poofy, has no shape, and the girl gets lost in it.  Sorry…

ETA: I just saw that you said it was a halter – which is a little better, I guess.  But still no, I would not pay for that.

@Katnisseverdeen:  IF we had children and I wanted to use something along those lines for a photoshoot or professional pictures I would look at it and say “hmm that’s cute but I could probably make that myself”. Do you have any other dresses/styles that you’d be making?
