So I’ll start out with a bit of back story. I have been on birth control since I was probably 14 yrs old. I had very irregular periods and was put on bc right away, I was never told there was anything wrong though. I continued to take bc until last November when I stopped as we are thinking about ttc by the end of this year. I am now 25. I had normal periods up until January but did not have one in Feb or March. I just got my period this last week. I took about 3 pregnancy tests between Jan. and March but were all negative which I expected as we were protecting using condoms. I was also researching during this time and came across PCOS and feel it may be relevant to my situation. Most obviously would be the irregular periods, I am overweight and seem to have more hair growth on my face since I went off the pill, mostly peach fuzz but the upper lip seems to be darker hair. I also feel I have a mild case of acne.
I guess I will get to my point now, what do you bees think I should do? Seeing I got my period do I wait to see what happens in the coming months or should I call my gyno office and explain my situation and see what they think? With all this research it is worrying me that you can have difficulty getting pregnant and if you dont get it treated it can more issues. I fear I could have had this since I was 14. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!!!
