@Mrs.DsBeeloved:  No more stressing! Stress can make you even skip a period.

@love108:  I agree.  Avoiding stress.  Other than that – I don’t think there is really anything you can do.

Nothing. You can delay it though. I went on holiday and was due to come on right at the start of it. Went to the docs and explained and they gave me tablets that delayed it for the duration.

Oh no don’t stress! Unless you want it to be delayed, so I guess, keep stressing? My friend also told me about some pills her doctor gave her to delay her period. Maybe your doctor will know about them too…

@mija22:  No idea what it was called but it did the job. Messed up my cycle for a while after though so I did pay a price!

Have sex, that always worked for me…

I actually did not know it was a thing until it was talked about on the radio, I guess alot of people swear by this, they also use it to induce labor. Who knew?

Actually, as long as you’re not PG, you can go to an herbalist and there is something called blue cohosh that you can take to make it start.  It tastes crap but should help you out.  Otherwise, I know this sounds like a horrible idea….and it is, but you can double dose on BC (just call your gyno or hit up a Planned Parenthood to get it today) every day until the end of the honeymoon and/or just skip your period altogether.

Your OBGYN can give you a prescription to make it start.

Parsley tea. I know, it sounds crazy weird, but it actually worked for me.

@WillyNilly:  Oh yeah, blue cohosh will probably work even better than parsley.

@Mrs.DsBeeloved:  I had to take it three times a day for a couple of days.  Seriously, it’s not very tasty so I also brewed it in a large jar with fresh mint and a rasberry herb tea bag, then cooled it down and basically chugged the thing.   Talk with your herbalist about dosages, maybe I was taking too much/not enough.  I was basically spazzing before a three week vacation in CR/Panama and really wasn’t thinking!

People also take pennyroyal.  I would try to stay away from this because it’s rather controversial as its very easy to accidently poison yourself if you’re not careful.
