My bicycle! It was $1400 when I bought it 4 years ago, and my friends thought I was crazy, but it’s my favorite possession.

I would have to say:

-Lasik eye correction surgery. If my vision were to deteriorate, I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. “Hey Doc. Nice to see ya again. Here’s my money. Let’s do it again!”

-My condo inside of DC and not the burbs. Wanted to be inside the city and since DC has gotten so darn expensive to live, I sacrificed my originally wanting a spacious house for a condo inside the city where I’m 10-15 mins from anything/anywhere worth wanting to visiting. So so so glad I did!

-Wedding venue. They were a HEADACHE to deal with and I wouldn’t recommend them to another bride BUT the clear view of the White House and Monument on a beautiful fall day and the WOW factor of every single inch of the place made it worth it.

I bought my MacBook in 2005 was a splurge of about $1,000 but 5 years later it is still going VERY strong.  For something I use every day its worth it.

My dog was a $200 impulse buy but totally worth every penny.

My Citizen Eco Drive watch my husband bought for me.  I have worn it every day for almost 3 years now.  I lusted after it for 2 years before that too!
