@o0olibelulao0o:  You can get that fabric in the first nursery at JoAnn’s.  I’ve been trying to decide whether or not I want to use it in my kitchen for months.  ๐Ÿ™‚  I think I may be convinced now.  Love both the ones you posted.

I am not pregnant, we are not planning on TTC for a while-heck some days we question weather or not we even WANT another one.

That being said, if we did, I’d make sure that his/her room was decked out in custom Wookie the Chew gear

It’s like Winnie the Pooh, but better.

We are doing one pallet wall and a beige/grey paint with a white crib and a brown rustic armoir.  I am making this mobile and painting it according to sex and we have rustic barn doors for closet doors!  I am going to do a cluster of cute frames/decorations above the crib on the pallet wall and then have the wall shelves for books next to the rocker!

I am an overplanner/decorator. ๐Ÿ™‚

@MissFireFlower:  Oh I love that! I’ve never heard of wookie the chew, now I wish I had, though I’m sure our bank account is happy that I haven’t!

Assuming i hava a baby boy…my dream nursery is all vintage travel themed. Our future sons name that we love is “Atlas” and we intend to travel the world with him and his brothers and sisters…

I don’t know why but I have an overwhelming feeling I’m going to have a boy.

@bretonvirgniia:  I love these ideas! I love the travel theme and am obsessed with airplanes. ๐Ÿ™‚ We’re not TTC yet, but for some reason I’m only focussing on boy decor and clothes…

DH is a huge Star Wars fan and we’d love to do this for a little boy’s nursery:

And for a girl something like this color scheme (someone else posted this photo in the thread too!) with little elements of Paris – we went there on our honeymoon and it is very special to us!

I had loads of ideas for a dream nursery, in reality we didn’t have extra money for decorating (and its really expensive in NZ) or have a spare room so baby is still in our room anyway. But I made some nice candy striped curtains and I’m currently in the process of m aking a quilt for her bed with some of the candy stripe fabric and one with birds in the same colours. She loves giraffes so has wall decals of them and a giraffe nightlight which I love. I do find myself looking at some pictures with cots full of bumpers and piled high with blankets and colourful quilts and toys thinking “That is not baby safe!” haha but I’m hoping its just to get the design effect in reality.

Ideally though, something like these:  http://pinterest.com/snowdengreen/baby-room/

My baby room progress!!   The walls are grey. We put that wall all along that back wall and then the white door there is a barn door style closet door and we put two of those lights up which are on dimmers and are on either side of the ( future ) white crib!!

We still have to change the fan out so we are waiting to put together the crib until we are done with sawdust/messes.
