I wear pearl studs on a daily basis. Classic and go with everything.

ashleyroo :  I usually wear pair of white gold diamond studs or small hoops. Diamond and pearl studs are a staple. If you find ones that you will wear often, the cost per wear becomes more reasonable.

ashleyroo :  They’re real. Honestly, I’ve never done anything to care for the pearls themselves. I know that if needed, you can use a gentle cloth and lukewarm water to wipe them down, but typically, I’ll just swab the gold posts with rubbing alcohol, using a q-tip, to clean them from time to time.

I’ve always been able to put post earrings in and just forget about them, but trying to wear dangle earrings always feel like a chore to me. Where I am located, James Avery is king. I wear these tiny silver Texas posts and they are perfect for fun daily wear. One day I hope to get small diamond studs but I’m enjoying these for now.

I wear diamond studs, diamond hoops, or pearl studs most days.  They’re easy, comfortable, and go with everything.

I’ve heard about lightbox and the 10k is what would stop me but my ears are sensitive.  Costco has some nice earrings.  My hoops are from them and they’re beautiful!

I have worn the same 1/10c diamond studs Darling Husband got me for Christmas for about 1.5 years now. I try to take them out and wash them every week, but sometimes I forget. They’re so easy, and I always feel dresed well with them on. They’re the first diamonds he ever got me, and I’m in love. 🙂

Another vote for diamond studs. Simple and go with everything. Mine are 1 carat total weight (.5 in each ear) and IMO it’s the perfect size for daily wear. They were definitely a splurge, but as PP said the cost per wear is hard to beat. I’ve worn them daily for nearly 5 years now. (I do take them out to sleep because I’m a side sleeper and the posts poke my head otherwise, but they I just pop them back in each morning after my shower.) Solid gold hoops are also a great choice for daily wear.

I used to have pearl earrings but they always made me feel frumpy, so eventually I gave them to a friend. I admire people who can pull them off without looking like Hilary Clinton, though.

I can’t pierce my lobes (bad scarring from when I did it before), so I bought a set of magnetic studs for my wedding. And I LOVE them. So simple and match everything I wear.

I will say these are really cheap. So if anyone knows of some high-quality non-pierced earrings I would love some suggestions.

ashleyroo :  I don’t wear any kind of jewelry on a regular everyday basis. Not even my engagement ring. I am totally dressed down at work and at home. I only wear them when I’m fixed up on the weekends mostly. My regulars are hoop yellow and white gold earrings and sometimes pearl and diamond studs that match my engagement ring. I like classic and timeless stuff.

browneyedgirl24 :  Have you considered pearl drop earrings? They feel a bit less formal. Also, the overtone of the pearl can an have impact as well. For example, cream pearls look terrible given my skintone relative to rose overtone pearls.
