@FoolsintheRain:  Thanks, we wanted a really family friendly day and it was perfect.  Hopefully should be getting pro pics by the end of this week to share a few more with the hive 🙂  We DIYd quite a lot, so quite proud of all the little details that came together on the day.

Not super original compared to some of you bees 😉 .. I arrived on an antique fire truck (My Husband is a firefighter), we used an axe to cut the cake and our card box was a box made by one of the ushers in the shape of the Maltese Cross.  We were engaged in Disney so had little pieces of Disney here and there.  Our table numbers were Disney quotes and couples and were a HUGE hit with everyone.  Also, the only place white flowers were used was in our centerpieces.  I wanted a bright, summery vibe

Could you tell me the brand and color of your bridesmaid dresses? That looks like exactly what I’m looking for.

@PeachSnapple:  For some reason it didn’t link your name when I first replied.  See the question I typed above.

@dancindavinci:   They were Alfred Angelo #7234 in Petunia.    Petunia looks NOTHING like the color sample on the webpage, it is more a cross between a bright coral-pink.   Gorgeous color on my bridesmaids, really popped on them.   Hope that helps!

I count this as original, because I didn’t use pinterest or another site for it, but I’m sure a bunch of other brides do it: our tables had a couple pictures of us at the age of the table number.

I saw this once on a cruise ship and it was literally my only request for the whole event. I compromised on the dress, the food, the music, the location, anything except my champagne tower.

@FoolsintheRain:  Finding pictures was fun; it was pretty much the only reason I wanted to do it, because it allowed DH and I to look through each others’ entire lives! Narrowing it down to 2 for each age was the hard part for me. My parents have very well organized photo albums. His family, on the other hand, only has pictures in random boxes, so that was a little more complicated.

I made this “LOVE” sign out of bristol board, red spray paint and some strings of outdoor globe lights. It sat on a table behind our head table and made an amazing backdrop for our photos!

@b00kbug:  Your shark themed wedding must be the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. You win at weddings. Laughing
