I get the idea here but personally I think that it should be “Post WEDDING pictures that make you happy”. Interracial, same race, hetero/homosexual, who cares? We are all trying to celebrate the same momentous occation and In My Humble Opinion until we who are celebrating the events stop drawing lines that divide us then why would anyone else? Maybe that is a bad opinon to have, but that is what I first thought of when I saw this. By The Way these all look like amazing weddings.

@maureen9004: Unfortunately, no. While same sex marriage amongst members of the military is now not terms for separation, military spouses are not eligible for benefits or housing. In fact, if the member of the military is killed in action, their spouse is not considered their next of kin and can not be notified, unless they have dependents. It’s really twisted. The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network has LOADS of information.

@chasesgirl: what i got from the post – if you read what the OP wrote, not just the title – was that it was to celebrate the legality of same sex marriage in NYC.  And honestly, if the thread was “post wedding pics”, we would likely see primarily heterosexual pics as evidenced by two threads with such titles this past week alone.
