I really think Lilia is super cute and very feminine. (Lill-i-a)

Hmm, I am a teacher and it seems you have the opposite philosophy about names that I do. Anything “common” isn’t necessarily bad. I certainly wouldn’t want a completely unique name (a name with a made-up spelling or what-not).

That said, I would lean toward Lillian or Lilly with the traditional spelling.

wineplease:  Leigh is pronounces Lee. It’s a common way to spell the name for a girl. I agree Lilleigh would get pronounced oddly by many people though.

If you really like Lilly is spelling it with the y at the end an option? Lilly is one of the most popular girls names right now though so if you don’t want something too common, I’d stay away from that one.

How about Lucy?

Vineyard-bride15:  one of my friends just called her baby girl Lorna Which is not weird or made up, but not that common, in the UK at least

My top girls name (that Darling Husband has already vetoed…) is Lyra (he’s already vetoed Lydia and Lucia which were mentioned by PPs). He loves Livianna. There’s also Lindy, Lirael, Liselle.

I really like Landon, although most often given to boys. Landyn feels more feminine, but I’m not big on adding Ys where they don’t really belong.

Maybe Lennon? Or Lennox?

I like Lana and Lorelei. Leona is pretty, too, and it is a very Italian name.
