My dream dress:

Vivienne Westwood Couture with a Mr Pearl corset underneath.

No pictures of my cheaper solution yet, but it’s going to be custom-made by Emmeline Couture for less than 10% of what the real thing wuold cost. I’m just glad that the Vivienne Westwood pret-a-porter bridal collection launches in two weeks’ time rather than last year as otherwise most of my budget would probably have gone on that!

Great idea for a thread! I originally fell in love with this Lazaro:

And I ended up with this much more economical Mori Lee dress, with a bit less bling:

Always happy to share, because I’m proud to have saved so much!

This collage has the dress I couldn’t afford: Justina McCaffrey, and me in my Allure dress altered, at 17% of the cost.

I originally fell in love with the demetrios 1356 (I think it was around $1,500 and there was no store around me that I could try this dress on at)

So I went with the allure 2302 which was about $850 with the custom length included.

@agerard23: From the first time I saw the Wtoo Lilli dress I thought it looked exactly like the Monique Lhullier. I’m glad you posted it! They’re practically identical.
