I have pictures and I still can barely remember what it looks like on.  I try to hold on to the feeling I had with the dress on which for me is easier to remember.  It sounds like you remember feeling great in it and loved it so remember that rather than how it looked.   The dress is awesome and I bet it looks amazing on you.  And models always look flat and board to me, a real bride always brings a dress to life so you will look better than that silly model

This dress is gorgeoues you purchased it because you loved it and it looked beautiful on you.  Stop looking at other dresses that might help.

I went back to the store tried on the sample again and took pictures

and when it went on I had THE moment again so I am pretty sure this is THE dress

Can you go try on the sample again?

I feel you.

I ordered my dress in December and I won’t be able to try on MY dress until June.

I have pictures of me in the sample and I have model photos, but neither do the dress full justice or really capture how I felt in it.

I just have to try and keep remembering how I felt and how much everyone loved it.

Love Sophia Tolli dresses and I also bet it looked great on you. Hips are good and I suppose you could say my dress is sort of similar to your and I think my dress looks better on someone with an hourglass figure. P.S. When I saw a guy I fancied (a few years ago now lol) I always used to forget what he looked like as I used to think about it too much so I guess this is what’s happened to you lol

I experienced such a similar feeling…I put a dress on, absolutely loved it, bought it, and – from then on – doubted my purchase. Viewing it on a model on-line made me doubt it even more; it looked so very different on her than on me! (I, too, have hips.) Looking online at other dresses didn’t help the situation either! I kept thinking “maybe this one would look better” or “oh, what about this one”.

Thankfully, I was able to take a picture of me in the dress after I bought it and I keep going back to those pictures. I have tried on dozens of dreses but my smile is the biggest and the most genuine when I am wearing my dress. And, every time I see me in the dress, I realize that I really do love it. I can’t wait to go back to the store for my first fitting and put it on again!

I would suggest you go back to the store and put your dress on again. Don’t go by on-line photos. Go by what you felt like when you first put it on. I’m sure you rocked it!

I’m nervous about my dress purchase too, honestly. We shopped for what felt like forever for my dress and when I found the one I decided on, I didn’t have “the moment” – it was more like, “ok, this one works – finally!” So now I’m worried that I’m going to put it on and not like it. I’m afraid I bought it out of dress shopping fatigue.

I do have a picture of me in it from the day we bought it and it is really beautiful, so I’m hoping all turns out well, but I’m nervous! It’s due to arrive any day between now and February – eeek!

So know that you’re not alone. I’m sure it happens to the best of us. There are so many decisions to make that everyone hypes up to be so important, it’s easy to second guess ourselves. 🙂
