Love this idea – getting two looks with the same dress! The tulle overlay looks so pretty and romantic for the ceremony. Your dress looks beautiful on you!

Wow, I love your dress with and without the tulle overlay! If it’s not too costly, go for it!!! You look stunning!

Thank goodness you love it again…that’s really pretty! I said oooooh out loud when I saw the first pic with the tulle overlay…and WOW when I saw the pic without it! Wear it for the ceremony only. It gives it a little extra fancy. But without it, it’s gorgeous! That lace contrast is amazing! But here’s my advice…coming from a bride that had 2 dresses but loved my ballgown so much that I didn’t change into my 2nd dress until the last hour, which was what I wanted to do so it was good…get pictures taken both ways! Get formal pictures with the overlay & without..BEFORE you bustle it. That train is a big deal with the contrast lace…freakin gorgeous! I missed out on pics in my second dress. It was the same dress as my bridesmaids but in ivory (it started out with me wanting the bomb necklace I got everyone to wear for the wedding lol). So I wish I would’ve gotten a few shots matching my girls. So please take this advice!

penguinwapi:  OMG! You found the tulle skirt for 100, for someone who didn’t use it, in your size???? You are sooo lucky! Where did you find it? I am looking for this skirt everywhere to see if I find it cheaper. I don’t want to pay $260, I would reather buy a used one. If anyone here is buying it and will sell it by mid april, talk to me. 🙂

I know this is an oldish post but just wanted to weigh in and say that i love the overlay – i would for sure go for it… I think the photographs with you in the dress with the overlay will have a really romantic vibe to it and you still get to wear a dress that makes you feel super slinky!! Good find!
