We are eloping (and using strangers as witnesses – possibly the photographers). We’ve yet to decide if we will invite people to a dinner – we can’t afford to pay for everyone.

We’re eloping in a little less than 2 weeks. We found a little wedding chappel that included everything but the witnesses, so we’re taking FI’s best friend and his wife. We’re then just going out with them after to celebrate at a barcade.

(We’re in a slightly different situtation as we’re having a big 300 person ceremony with our families and friends in September)

We had a private ceremony just us two, but we told our family. We went for a lovely dinner in a small town where there ceremony was. And two weeks later we held one of three receptions. We took a three day minimoon to relax after our ceremony and travel around our the area.

We are eloping in Paris. When we get back we plan on having dinner at a nice restaurant and maybe a few close friends. I’m going to wear a short white dress that’s not to expensive for the dinner.

We eloped on a Tuesday and had a trip booked to Mexico for the Thursday! On Wednesday, we planned to tell my parents at dinner, but my dad tried to back out because he was having gastrointestinal issues. So I was like “OK, well I guess I’ll just tell you now – we eloped yesterday!” Haha. So that didn’t exactly go to plan. We didn’t tell anyone else until we got back from Mexico, and basically everyone’s response was either “I knew it!” Or “Finally!!”

Afterwards, we had a few dinner dates with various friends and family to celebrate, but nothing big or official or wedding-like at ALL. Exactly the way we wanted it!

We got married and then spent the whole day taking photos, I really love beautiful landscapes and I’m normally the one taking the photos of my other half so it was really nice to get me in some landscape photos too. Photos are here: http://nisharavji.com/iceland-elopement-jen-david/

We had dinner half way through 🙂 We’re not travelling Europe as our honeymoon ^_^

We will be going for dinner, just the two of us at a nice upscale restaurant and then heading to the hotel suite for more quality time ;). The next day we will go home to pack and leave for honeymoon.

We had our enlopement ceremony and then went out to eat. I was still in my wedding dress and he was in a tux. It was quite fun.

Immediately afterwards, we’ll go out to dinner somewhere (the package we have includes a dinner at a local restaurant, so it’s a bit of a surprise where we will end up haha!). Much like Lulu above, we’ll be heading out in our wedding gear – why not?! It is terribly fun!!

We’ll stay a few days at our accomodation, and then Saturday we’ll take the parents out for tea at an Italian restaurant and drop the news to them then 🙂
