I need help!
My invites are done and ready to be sent. They are 6×6 square invitations. I went to the post office 2 weeks ago, they weighed it, and said the postage would be 79 cents in the United States. I know there’s a lot of issues apparently with square envelopes in the post office so I sent 2 invites to my roommates (who live with me). Weird thing is, the first invite was received the very next day. The other one STILL has not come in the mail yet and it’s been over a week. Should I be worried? Is there a reason that the invite was lost? If so, I’m not even sure who to talk to about this at the post office. If they say the postage is 79 cents, I should be able to trust my post office right? ARGH
Now I’m super paranoid about sending the rest off for fear that half of them will get lost in the mail… 🙁

Don’t tell me that kind of thing, I’m already nervous! >_<
But I’d definitely go back and talk to them. If one showed up, I’d say that the problem is not the amount of postage, that should be an all or nothing deal. Find out if there’s any other problems, like it’s not flat enough maybe? I’m not sure. Hugs! I’m sure it will work out.

Some invitations do get lost. Or misdelivered. It’s a little eerie that you sent two and exactly half of them didn’t show up, but weird stuff happens. My sister’s invitation took almost three weeks to get to her – I actually sent another one on a plane with my mom, who was going to visit her – and it arrived two days before the mailed one. If the post office told you the postage was correct, and one did show up, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. You’ve already had your bad-luck invitation, so if life is fair at all the rest will be delivered just fine.

My passport got lost for 2 weeks last month. I was sweating bullets! Just relax and take a deep breath. All will work itself out fine!
Your postage should be fine 🙂

The postage should be fine. Things do occasionally get lost or just take a little while longer to get to their destinations. I would take a new invite to the post office and have them re-weigh it just to be sure!
