I’m not allowed to put mine up til tomorrow (according to my husband!!) so I will add a pic later. I’m so excited to start decorating though! So far I’ve managed to put up a few of our more wintery, less Christmas-y decorations. 🙂

@woodwindwaker: Great idea.  =) Mine is a little sparse for right now because Fiance and I are just starting out.  We’ll be collecting throughout the years, but it’s still just as pretty.

I’ll be back with some pictures once the lights are on.  I only have a picture of my tree skirt. I love it.

FI and I don’t live together yet, and since he’s out of the country on a business trip until mid-Decemeber, I had his mom let me into his house to set up a Christmas tree to surprise him when he comes home! The best part…got the tree (7.5′ prelit artifical) from Home Depot for $49 on Black Friday! I need another strand of garland for the bottom, but here it is so far:

and here are our stockings and little snowbirds! I bought another tiny stocking for our Boston Terrier, Ruby, to put up when Fiance comes home 🙂

Put mine up this weekend so I can enjoy it with my Fiance before he goes away on a bussiness trip.

I’m bookmarking this thread for later. We’re putting ours up this weekend, probably Friday. Darling Husband is being a bit of a Scrooge, so I want to decorate and get in the holiday spirit!

@brox:

The tree is my favorite part!! I looove putting one up. I can’t wait to move so we can get a GIANT tree! Hopefully I’ll have to get on a ladder to decorate! I just imagine it just like movies: popcorn ball garland, the kids in their pjs and I have an apron on! HAHAH!!
