Vivienne_D:  Beautiful set! But I think you need to explain “peach gold”. Never heard of it. What alloy is it? Gold and…?

Thanks bees for your lovely compliments

Peach gold lies somewhere between yellow and rose gold…Pinkier than yellow gold and less pink than rose gold, if that makes any sense  It’s 75% pure gold, 20% cooper and 5 % silver.

I intinially wanted rose gold but the very pink color simply didn’t go well with my skintone (very strong yellow undertone!). The jeweller that we went to carried peach gold and i was totally sold on it.

Vivienne_D:  Aha, it sound pretty much like the gold we use here in Sweden. I have it in my ring as well! We call it red gold and I prefer it over the yellow. It contains 75% pure gold, 16-17% copper and 8-9% silver. The yellow gold, which is the common gold in other countries has a higher proportion of silver. I really like the “peach”-name but your jeweller must have come up with that him/her self because not even google could find anything with that name!
