I bought my veil from etsy for like 40 buck and had the option to add lace, pearls, etc…loved it!

I borrowed my veil from my Maid/Matron of Honor and only wore it for the ceremony.

$300??? That is insane to me. This may not be your cup of tea, but I got my veil off Ebay. It’s waltz length with beading on the edge. $30, and it is just as described, and will work wonderfully. If you want a plain veil, they go for around $10 from these Chinese sellers. Just another option to check out.

We have not had the wedding yet but this is a picture of the dress and cathedral veil together. Dress from Bridal Warehouse but veil is from David’d Bridal for $40.

@Diamond84:  Wow that seems like a lot of money to me. I wore a raw edge, two tier fingertip length veil for $120.

That’s a lot of money for a simple veil!  Mine was from the bridal shop I got my dress from and the only reason I got it there instead of off Etsy like I originally planned is because they gave it to me free with the purchase of my dress.  It was a $200 cathedral length raw edge veil,  and I thought that was ridiculous! No way I would pay 310 for a fingertip length with no embellishment, I think you should check out etsy. With that said, I love the style of that veil with your dress,  but I do see it looking phenomenal with a cathedral length as well. Here was mine.

I also like the idea of cathedral length with your dress as PPs have mentioned.

Here’s mine, it’s two tiered and has a lot of beading. I’m ordering it from the bridal salon where I got my dress, the veil is $150. The photo is from when my dress first came in, the veil here is still a sample in white. Mine will be ordered in Ivory.

Mine is a single tier cathedral length veil with satin edging, my something borrowed from my Maid/Matron of Honor. I think you are definitely being charged too much for a simple, fingertip length veil. Shop around!

@Diamond84:  here’s mine, it was £330 which is around $530 but it has ribbon edges and it’s hard to tell from the pic but it is full of crystals. I would say you are being overcharged 🙁 also I am a sucker for cathedral veils and I think a plain raw edge one would go beautiful with your dress.

It depends on what YOU think is expensive.  IMO I think it is too much for a veil.  I bought mine off Ebay also. it’s plain raw edge, and waltz length (to the back of the knee) for $30.  I don’t plan on wearing it past ceremony and pictures though so it just depends on you I guess.
