I have a 14kt rose gold band with a G color center stone! I love rose gold!

We got white gold prongs to make it make even more blingy!

Well it’s not a solitaire but I want to play anyways!

Mine is G color. I’ve read that rose golda ctually makes stones look whiter.

@jpalm13:  I love your setting! Where is it from? I’ve been looking for tulip settings with pave on the petals everywhere!

Rose gold is really making a surge this year!  I’m starting to see it more and more!  Exciting!

My jeweler said that white gold or platinum make the center stone look the whitest, followed by rose gold. He recommends white metal prongs on yellow gold settings, but said that we could keep rose gold prongs on our rose gold setting.

In the end though, because we decided to go with a lower colour (I) stone, we settled on white gold to maximize the whiteness of our stone.

@jenefer:  what colour is your stone? A white diamond in rose gold looks even more white, but I saw some warm stones (J-K) in a single solitaire RG setting, and it made the diamonds look even more warm. It was still beautiful though, so it depends on your personal preferences.

@jenefer:  If its graded by EGL it probably is more in the I-J range.

I lost my first ering so as a do-over, I went from white gold to rose gold and am SOOO happy I did!! I love the warm color of the rose gold and I think it shows my stone off even better. I hated how my white gold was already needing to be redipped after 4 months and didn’t want to deal with maintenance. I have my main stone set in white gold prongs with a rose gold band. My center stone is an amora moissy which I believe is equivalent to G/H coloring.
