(Closed) Post, Post wedding party and Registry dilemma

Ok, well, congrats first off.  You can keep the celebration small and only invite the people you TRULY want to be there (whether they are oot or not). Make it clear it is NOT a typical reception, just a post wedding celebratory dinner or whatever it is you plan to do.

As for the registry, send the info to the people you plan to invite to the celebration in October.  if people really just want to buy you a gift as congratulations, just because, your mom or someone close to you can tell them where you registered.
