We got engaged in October 2013 and are planning our wedding for August 2014. In the first 3 months I got a lot of things done by myself and with the help of my fantastic mum. There is still a fair bit left to do, and Fiance is being great! He asked me what is left to be done, and recently he paid for our limo and helped with organising the ceremony music and flowers with the ladies at church.
We both love music and today he rang my mobile asking if we could sit down tomorrow and work out or reception music together! He had bought some CDs especially so we will have that mostly sorted tomorrow. I love that he is getting excited about our big day.
Show me some Fiance appreciation!

PeachKitten: I don’t have a pic. I let my Fiance know I want an afternoon to get wedding things done and he leaves the house to go to the garage to work on our motorcycles!! Perfect! He knows how OCD I am about my DIY projects so he gives me space without question. I understand that most Bees probably won’t understand, but this is how I can get a lot done for the wedding!! That is how my Fiance does great on wedding planning…..

He’s dealing with the reception venue. He’s the point guy, designing the wine and beverage list, working with event planner on menu. They don’t even have my email. He’s also handling the budget, has allocated what we can spend on what, where. He is responsible for the saving, faithfully making sure 100-200/week gets tucked away. If it were up to me, we would live in a cardboard box, surrounded by beautiful things. Needless to say, he handles the finances. I love leaving him “Honey Do” lists and know that when I get home, everything on the list wil be done. He’s so helpful!

FutureMrsLarson: I agree! He hasn’t messes anything up yet so for that I’m thankful! I definitely prefer to do things myself, and since we’re not paying for it, we’re super laid back about it, even with less than 2 months left, there’s a lot to do but I’ll get to when I get to it lol He works 14+ days sometimes 7 days a week so being able to get everything done myself is great!
